CWJ Food Bank Challenge: Day 12

I've been looking forward to today's recipe all week long!  I have a bit of a sweet tooth, so I think other than missing cream in my coffee, sweets have been the #1 thing I miss during this challenge. Pancakes with homemade syrup are a really nostalgic food for me as well,  since both are something my Grandparents always made for me growing up (and continue to do so to this day).  All in all, brunch was a great meal, and rang in at a mere $1.14/serving! 

Brunch (1:15 pm)
Pancakes w/ Brown Sugar Syrup
Coffee w/ Milk and Sugar 
Total Cost: $2.18

Baked Potato Soup
Total Cost: $1.88
This recipe made 6 large servings so we froze 2 and put 2 in the fridge for tomorrow. 
Without the bacon or green onions, this tasted more like a potato/cheddar perogie soup! 

Snack (7:00pm)
Peanut Butter Sandwich w/ a glass of milk
Total time spent preparing food today:  30 minutes
Total Daily Meal Cost: $2.52/person ($5.03 total)

Under Budget: $1.48/person ($2.97 total)
