Easy Homemade Mac and Cheese

 
Ingredients
- 2 cups dry macaroni noodles
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 cups whole milk 
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Directions
Cook macaroni noodles as directed on the package. 
 
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan, combine butter and flour to create a roux.  Cook for 1-2 minutes, or until the rough is fragrant and lightly browed.  Whisk in milk, 1 cup at a time.  Once thickened, add cheese and whisk until smooth.  
 
Pour cheese sauce over well drained macaroni noodles and stir to combine.
